Not everyone looks at the whole picture but need just that small part of life that they need. Hitler obviously gave her what she desired most; love and affection, consideration and tenderness, etc. who knows? The story introduces the reader to Eva Braun and the time just before and during World War II in Germany. But it is also so much more. It's about the human spirit, survival, friendship, love, betrayal, discovery and denial as I was seamlessly taken on a journey through time and place. Although this is a work of fiction, it is also an historical portrait about real life characters. <br /><br />If you like to read a good mystery, love story, and/or history I know you will thoroughly enjoy 'The Munich Girl.'<br />Erichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13661621898176584283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7531601806554006401.post-4727091088296422692016-08-10T10:48:10.245-04:002016-08-10T10:48:10.245-04:00Thanks! This book was not only a thoroughly enjoyable read but also offered information that transmuted to knowledge about a woman who has been dismissed from "serious history" for her life choices and heart's desire. I came away with a deeper appreciation for human complexity. Kithttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14980965477805109875noreply@blogger.com
