Library Loot: February 5

Library Loot is a weekly event co-hosted by Eva and Marg that encourages bloggers to share the books they’ve checked out from the library. If you’d like to participate, just write up your post, visit Reading Adventures and link it using Mr. Linky any time during the week. And of course check out what other participants are getting from their libraries!

Gearing up for the Storm of the Century here in Virginia!
Stopped by the library yesterday and picked up two books they were holding for me:

Devil's Cub             Throne of Jade (Temeraire, Book 2)

Should finish Shadowbrook: A Novel of Love, War, and the Birth of America tonight and these two are next on my list. My office is closing at noon today and I don't expect to have to work Monday, either. If I finish both of these I've got a stack of more books waiting to be read. I love snowed-in weekends! Woo Hoo!

  2. I've been meaning to read some Georgette Heyer!

Since I've started Library Loot participation, I'm rediscovering books and trying new authors.

  4. On the one hand I really hate the snow, but on the other hand I'm kind of envying all my eastern part of the country friends the days off during Snowpocalypse (or Snowmageddon, if you prefer). Ah, well, I have a 4 day weekend this coming weekend & I am well stocked now with books for it. Here's my list.
