This week my teaser comes from a digital ARC of Wither by Lauren DeStefano. This is futuristic dystopian YA and I haven't read anything else quite like it. It's rather disturbing, in a subtle, creepy, polygamous society sort of way. Jury's still out on this one, we'll see how it ends. From page 47:
The man in white says, "What fate has brought together, let no man tear asunder." Fate, I think, is a thief.
