Teaser Tuesday: Wither

This week my teaser comes from a digital ARC of Wither by Lauren DeStefano. This is futuristic dystopian YA and I haven't read anything else quite like it. It's rather disturbing, in a subtle, creepy, polygamous society sort of way. Jury's still out on this one, we'll see how it ends. From page 47:

    I recently got this book off Net Galley. It's a bit different from books I normally read but the premise sounds intriguing and it have been well reviewed.
