Teaser Tuesday: The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie

This week my teaser comes from The Madness of Lord Ian MacKenzie. This is the first book I've read by Jennifer Ashley and I really enjoyed it and was very impressed with her ability to write such an unconventional, yet convincing and heart-wrenching hero.

     "I've lost her, haven't I?"
     Mac landed next to him in the carriage with a thump, and slammed the door himself.

    I have heard such good things about this book. Given that I have read and enjoyed a lot of Jennifer Ashley's books I really should hurry up and read it!
