Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
Grab your current read
Open to a random page
Share two "teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!
Share the title & author, too, so that others can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teaser!
This week my teaser comes from the second book of J.R. Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood series, which is my newest guilty pleasure! From page 309:
She was sobbing. Bawling. Crying so hard her whole body was shaking.
He didn't ask any questions, just wrapped himself around her.
"I'm not okay," she said hoarsely between breaths. "Rhage...I'm not okay."
He closed his eyes and held on tight.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who cheated this week!

ReplyDeleteYou should definitely start with the first book, Dark Lover. This series is so popular, your local library should have it if you want to try it before you buy it!
