Teaser Tuesday: Dearly, Departed

This week my teaser comes from Dearly, Departed by Lia Habel. It took me a while to get into this one, but on the advice of others I stuck with it and it is paying off! This is really different from anything else I've read--like an alternate history/fantasy/sci-fi mish-mash. Strange, but interesting. And looks like it's shaping up to be a fantastic love story! From p. 124:


    

     "It was an accident!" I hushed my voice further. "He never would have hurt either of you, if he could help it. That's why he didn't tell you. He loved both of you so much. For as long as I've known him, you're all he's talked about . . . he's missed you so much."

    LOL I've been reading this one too! I totally agree that it took a while to get hooked, but I'm really glad I stuck with it! Don't you just love Bram? ;)
