Mailbox Monday: February 8

Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Checked out library books don’t count, but eBooks & audio books do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles and humongous wish lists.

The Drifter

This should have been posted yesterday, but as I was at home without power until yesterday afternoon, today feels like Monday to me! This is the only book I got last week and this came through Goodreads Bookswap. I'm a fan of Susan Wiggs' historical romances and I've had my eye on this one for a while.

Mailbox Monday is hosted by The Printed Page.

  1. Did you get walloped by the snow?

The Drifter sounds good - look forward to your review!

  2. Didn't get walloped too badly, we got about a foot, but it was such a wet, heavy snow, we had a couple of pine trees come down on our power lines and were without power for 38 hours. Thank goodness for our propane-powered fireplace! More snow on the way starting tonight, we could get another 10 inches! This is the coldest, snowiest winter I can ever remember!

  3. Don't you just love to swap books? I use Book Mooch because it's open to Canadians. I wish Goodreads would hurry up and do the same. I love historicals and The Drifter looks good. Thanks for visiting my blog!

  4. I hope you keep power through the second wave. I have Pope Joan in my TBR pile. Glad you joined the FB group and thanks for visiting my blog!

I love comments! Getting feedback on my posts makes my day! Thanks for being here!
