Mailbox Monday is the gathering place for readers to share the books that came into their house last week. (Library books don’t count, but eBooks & audiobooks do). Warning: Mailbox Monday can lead to envy, toppling TBR piles, and humongous wish lists!
Mailbox Monday, created by Marcia @ A Girl and Her Books, is on a blog tour! Next month's host: At Home with Books.
This is my second December hosting Mailbox Monday, and I love that it coincides with my favorite time of the year! Fa la la la la . . .
I've got the Christmas spirit and December is going to be full of giveaways, including one just for Mailbox Monday participants! If you've shared your Mailbox Monday post on Mr. Linky this week, leave a comment on this post and you'll be entered to win a book of your choice ($15 or less) from Barnes & Noble (U.S. residents) or The Book Depository (International residents). The Linky will be live until the following Monday when a new MM post goes up. Thanks for joining me this month!
Last week's winner is . . .
Anne @ The Book Garden
So, I didn't actually get any books last week, but I'm posting this one in anticipation of it's arrival later this week. I hope to have a few to put in my Mailbox the day after Christmas :)
The Merchant's Daughter from Amazon Vine. Supposed to be a retelling of Beauty and the Beast. An unthinkable danger. An unexpected choice.Annabel, once the daughter of a wealthy merchant, is trapped in indentured servitude to Lord Ranulf, a recluse who is rumored to be both terrifying and beastly. Her circumstances are made even worse by the proximity of Lord Ranulf's bailiff---a revolting man who has made unwelcome advances on Annabel in the past.
Believing that life in a nunnery is the best way to escape the escalation of the bailiff's vile behavior and to preserve the faith that sustains her, Annabel is surprised to discover a sense of security and joy in her encounters with Lord Ranulf. As Annabel struggles to confront her feelings, she is involved in a situation that could place Ranulf in grave danger. Ranulf's future, and possibly his heart, may rest in her hands, and Annabel must decide whether to follow the plans she has cherished or the calling God has placed on her heart.
That's it for me!
Please share your Mailbox through Mr. Linky, and don't forget to leave a comment to be eligible for the giveaway!
