If you are one of the bloggers who raved about Anna and the French Kiss, Thank You! After seeing so many gush about this book, I picked it up from the library, fell completely in love with it, and finished it in a day. What an all-around fun, charming, laugh-out-loud funny, and oh so romantic read!! And what a very realistic and honest portrait of a teen romance. And who can resist the backdrop of Paris? LOVED IT! A new Five-Star Favorite! So, of course, I had to share a trifecta of teasers:
"Etienne," he says. "I live one floor up."
"I live here." I point dumbly at my room while my mind whirs: French name, English accent, American School. Anna confused.
Page 84:
"It translates to 'Point zero of the roads of France.' In other words, it's the point from which all other distances in France are measured." St. Clair clears his throat. "It's the beginning of everything."
I look back up. He's smiling.
"Welcome to Paris, Anna. I'm glad you've come."
Page 143:
But I can't say it aloud, because he's my friend. And friends don't let other friends make drunken declarations and expect them to act upon them the next day.
Then again . . . it's St. Clair. Beautiful, perfect, wonderful--
And great. That's just great.
He threw up on me.
Now run out and read this book!
